PHP Training Course

The Hands On Technology Transfer's PHP Programming course provides the hands on knowledge necessary to design and develop dynamic, database-driven web pages using PHP. The PHP web development course begins by introducing the PHP framework and syntax, and includes advanced programming constructs and object oriented programming with PHP. Students will also practice using PHP with a MySQL database to create database-driven HTML forms and reports.

PHP Programming course attendees are already expected to have basic knowledge of HTML, but if a student has no previous web development experience, HOTT does offer a Website Development with HTML5, CSS and Bootstrap course which provides that fundamental/remedial HTML knowledge if a student needs it. Prior programming experience in any other programming language is also helpful before taking our PHP course, but it is not required. Students who have no prior programming experience may wish to sign up for HOTT's free Introduction to Programming Concepts self-study course to gain advance exposure to fundamental programming concepts before their PHP training.

Our instructor-led classes provide substantial hands-on lab time and individual attention, with all courses consisting of 50% hands-on lab exercises during class time. PHP web development training courses may be attended in-person in the classroom, online from your home via live remote attendance, or through on demand training at your convenience.
