Before taking the Analyzing Data with Power BI training course it is recommended, but not required, that students already have previous basic familiarity with some kind of relational database product or system. HOTT's SQL Programming course provides an excellent option for learning this foundational base of knowledge, as well as teaching about many important SQL database topics. Information and Pricing on multi-class training passes is available here.
Students wanting in-depth coverage of DAX and Power Query M in addition to Power BI training should attend the 5-day Analyzing Data with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query M course rather than this 3-day course.
The Analyzing Data with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query M course covers everything in the 3-day Power BI course, but also includes an additional 2 days of training specifically providing coverage of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query M. Students will learn DAX fundamentals, as well as practice using DAX to solve common data modelling problems. Attendees will also learn how to utilize the Power Query M language to write advanced data queries.
